Cool. I took 250 shots of a bee exiting its hive yesterday. I had removed the hive from my shed last week and yesterday I started hearing a crackling sound behind me. To my amazement there was one little wasp in there and it was hatching. It's still in my studio here next to me, it hasn't left its hive yet. If I let it outside it'll freeze, it's like 2 degrees Celsius here. Guess he'll be my pet for now. lol
Love the colors of this wasp, very different from the one I have here. Its eyes are brown too, and textured, very nice. After the challenge send me a PM and i'll upload a pic or two if you'd like. a big fat 9 for you. |

Nice Macro, with the blanked out background it's hard to determine if this was actually upside down or not, but looking at it's feet it looks like it probably was.
Lovely focus on the main eye, the crop might be a little tight at the bottom though.
