 This is my son Callum. He is 10 years old and absolutely wants to be a chef. He has a wonderful disposition, which is captured well here - even if i do say so myself. Shot with my 5D & 50mm F1.2L (what a combo). I used a Sigma 530 flash with a bouncer attached. Converted to B&W using desat' & used variations (in PS) to darken. Burned the background a little because, even at f/16 with a flash, there was a lot distracting detail.

Lovely portrait, interesting perspective, works for me. I'm not sure if you brightened the teeth, if so, too much. They take my eye away from his eyes.
