 Cool little guy found on a leaf in the backyard. Picked up him and his leaf and put them on the glass patio table, then put him (and his leaf) back where I found him. He posed quite nicely, don't you think?

Normally, I don't care for bug pictures but this one is different. I think it's the perfectly positioned shallow DOF.

wow. This is way cool. The echoing colors are great and the DOF gives this animal some emotional content that wouldn't otherwise be there. Excellent macro.
