Thanks for viewing this last place entry, the most impoverished score for this challenge!
We who live in affluence tend to easily overlook poverty, especially when it is right next door, such as in a country called Haiti. Though you may have not valued the photographic quality of this entry much, I wonder how uncomfortable the reality of poverty makes you and also how easily you skipped over that little half island of Haiti on your world map. Think what your neighborhood would look like if the income was less than $1 a day, if there was 80% unemployment and well over half of the population in your neighborhood was living in abject poverty. Then again, maybe it is better not to think of the real poor at all, but just take photos of them.
Again, thanks for taking another look at poverty. Now, send some love in the form of practical acts of kindness or even a donation to a charitable organization that fights poverty.

Photo was taken on super macro, converted to greyscale, leveled a touch, hit with brightness/contrast, and resized, then added border for more framing effect to help you not skip over this part of the world, the closest poverty to the affluent world of USA.

| Not really a photogtraph, but more like a photocopy of a map. Two issues. One you haven't really worked the image and developed the concept. Secondly the title is too much of a narrative |

| A photo of a map...while unique, doesn't really impact me with a sense of poverty. I understand the statistics, but the image itself doesn't convey the theme. |
