Story:
The story:
I was in Afghanistan supporting OIF as a civilian. This was taken from one of the Bazars. This man was excited when I came up to look at his carpets, but was sad when I only wanted to look and take a picture. I felt bad because I wanted to support him by buying one of his carpets. Again, I love the intense stare that the man had and I am glad that I was able to capture it to some extent with my pocket camera. After 45 days in Afghanistan I think this was my favorite and I hope that others enjoy it as much as I do.

Thanks to Bernard_Marx for the photo name idea.

Good to see a positive image from Afghanistan. Good luck to the young man and thanks for an effective photo. I'd like to see more on the same theme.

A young man looking as though he isn't ready to settle into the stationary life of a carpet dealer.
