From the standpoint of Street Photography, the person on the left gives the image action and humanity, however outside the confines of the challenge topic, I would prefer the composition without the figure. I like the large oval of the fountain filling the width of the frame, and I like the repeating yellows of the lights, building, tree, and fallen leaves. The dull light gives it an interesting atmosphere. |

What I did not notice in the challenge are the two figures. One on the left and one on the right, seemingly moving around the fountain. It's like a future merry-go-round that is implied. What, at least that is what I see... |

Deb, I don't know if catching Donovan lyrics counts as "hip." :D
I can't believe Balko didn't give you extra credit for this. |

This shot needs help ion the edit
Tweek levels up ... adjust curves to help with the contrast
Tweek saturation up
Sharpen a bit
Good luck |

I suppose I'm not quite hip enough to catch the reference of the title. Has a strangely in and out gray sense to it - like parts are desaturated, parts are not... and in that respect, kinda goes with your title in an odd way. |

The blur on the left is distracting. I don't feel there's a central subject to this shot other than a broken fountain, which to me, doesn't satisfy my notion of what street photography is. |
