 Finally was able to get some photos of dragonflies recently and I liked this one. May not seem much to the experts here, but it's harder than I thought to capture one clearly! It was also fun chasing after these little busy fliers.

There are so many dragonfly shots at DPC this one will probably get lost in the crowd, but I had to enter something to have that update button! :)

nice insect macro with good details and DOF. Colors are nice too, I like the contrasting green bug/brown background.

i love this, dragonflies are awesome subjects....but the only ones around Missippi are blue and black, great find

Such a happy looking little fella. I really love how he is just looking at me and seems to be smilling with a touch of a moustache. Great clarity and composition. The green just pops out.

Brilliant focus and DOF, fantastic colour too. It's great you caught him on the plain brown plant, it really emphasises that green. It's an unusual crop, with one wing cut in half but I don't think it harms the photo overall.
