I didn't notice the title and thought the shadow looks like a Mastiff Napolitano...
Great light and shadow!

| Yes indeed: Thurber was practically a member of our household when I was growing up. (His work, I mean). When I clicked on the picture and title it all came back in an instant. But this is a wonderful find and another of your great compositions of light and shadow and line. |

| Without reading the title, the first thought I had was "a man and his dog". Oh how I wish you'd entered this in the challenge! This is a GREAT find! I still can't figure the shadow... |
