 Actually it was taken in Basildon.. My dream photography holiday would be to go to Chernobyl/Pypriat in the Ukraine and visit the ruined villages and ghost towns. One day it will happen. Thankfully I have already had kids so no chance of fathering any mutants in the future. A bit of radiation poisoning is character building anyway.

undoubtedly one of my favorites, I think this appears as a wonderful (gas station) commercial architectural remnant.

aww, you really tricked me here! i should have noticed the graffities to know this is not in the "polluted area"...but otherwise i can tell you it's exactly how it looks like on the road to chernobyl.
