interesting tonal correlation: the girl and the man are happy and bright, the rest of the crowd - less happy, and dark. Coincidence?
great genuine moment captured. |

its all about the look from the woman, she wants a child, her boyfriend not so much. |

I am not going to read others comments as I am late in posting so forgive me if I duplicate them
I love the motion blur on the child's foot.. such excitement ... and her expression.. makes me think this is a weekend daddy.. doesn't that break your heart? I don't get the expression on the woman's face to the left.. what is her problem? I really studied her look and it just isn't nice.. The man coming into the shot has a much more benign look and that is ok... this is a photo that is sweet.. that dad really knows how to make his little girl feel loved and isn't that grand! |

Maybe there is a park rule that says children should be on a leash at all times, and the woman is expressing her disapproval that a father could be irresponsible enough to let his daughter loose.
This is a wonderful capture of joy. Well done. |

The exhuberant emotions of the child and man make the shot. The expression of the woman makes me wonder. Such joy would make the most dour of us smile, yet she doesn't at that moment. |

is great, cant get a girl to pose that expression if you wanted to.
nor the woman looking at the scene with a pretty interesting look on her face.
If it wasnt a child she was looking at, id even say it was contempt
great shot |

Nice moment, Steve. Not just the girl and her dad, who are in their own world here, but the onlookers. I almost sense regret in the woman on the left. |

Papa!!! That they are wearing lighter colours than those around them adds to the emotion. |

Nice interaction here, not only between parent and child, but by the woman with the turned head. Well done IMHO. |

I'm curious to hear what about this shot makes you think it looks posed. It's a pretty bold statement to make without any presentation of evidence. My iniital response was just the opposite: that a moment like this couldn't be manufactured for anything.
Pure joy... |

I keep getting drawn up to the words "Park Rules". Makes for an interesting interpretation of the photo. |
