This is a pinhole image (and off we go on the Pinhole/Zone Plate Challenge!). I was doing some test shots and trying to clean my sensor, but I got bored with that. The spots just kept moving around. Actually, the wife and I have 2 rebel xtis and this is the newer one (thus, fewer spots).

As you guys have figured out, they are flowers.

PS:
Crop
B/W layer (with slight blue tint)
clone, dodge, burn all over the place
vignette
added some noise too
a bit of Gaussian blur to help hide some sensor dust
resize
usm (I think i sharpened it a bit)

There is something special about a pinhole shot and not just its timeless quality, the only rule about pinhole photography is that there are no rules! Great lighting btw ;)

It looks like they are clowning for the camera, all trying to be the front flower. Very nice b/w, and grain on flowers has always worked for me.

So is this zone plate or pinhole, Nathan? I like the contrasts here, and the noise complements it - looks textured, like canvas.
