 Oh this was fun, if time consuming.
Pasted 6 little mirrors on a black background (black construction paper) stuck them in the corner of my little light tent, suitably draped in black velvet. The lily posed against the only side that was still white. After much anguish, the lily lined up in the mirrors. I was all set to enter the result when I decided to see what would happen if I inverted the whole thing. Well, I liked it. We'll see what my peers think during the voting cycle.

Convert frm RAW, crop, convert to B&W, sharpen, invert.

I really like the concept of this one. Very minimalist, and very creative use of mirrors. I might consider leaving out a mirror or two on the stem or a tighter crop on the right... there's just so much overpowering white on the image... maybe even a different color background instead of white so that the flower itself can pop out more- I think the white takes away from a fabulous concept and a great shot.
