Thank you Deb and Krige. Your comments made my day! It is humbling enough to see you guys taking the time out to comment on my un-worthy and crude pictures. You motivate me.
Thank you.

Reading through the comments... I suspect the colors here are just as they appear. In my opinion, they're just fine that way. Love the fine beadwork on this piece, and I think it a good entry for the challenge. |

I really like this, and think the 'blurry' comment is a little inaccurate. The soft focus, angle and processing creates an image that's very pleasing to look at. If I had to nitpick here, I'd say the corner that is cropped off in the bottom left breaks it a little, but otherwise it's a very nice piece of work. |

Great macro and I like the muted colors. |

Good that you thought of this; the DOF could have been a bit deeper! |

Interesting macro, nice focus. Would like it even better with more vivid colors, this seems a little dull to me. |

This is almost certainly in reality, a bright red. I think your saturation really needs to come up, and different lighting or a different angle might have helped as well. |

I'm normally a huge fan of shallow DOF, but for some reason, the way this shot is composed, I want to see this whole image sharp. Nice picture though... what is this a picture of? |

I like that you've aimed at capturing mirrors without reflections. The DOF adds interest and I like the toned back colours, though I think you could have also pushed it the other way by making that colours stronger. |
