Haunting. The focus is just right, the exposure is just right, the crop is just right. 9

Overall low contrast hurts this otherwise good shot. Kinda muddy.

Needs more contrast.

Doesn't feel in focus to me, and I think that color would have worked really well here.

I once heard a useful tip when it comes to b/w processing. You should always consider converting to b/w when the colors in a shot were not interesting at all but here I get the feeling they were and I can´t help but wonder what this shot would have looked like in color, is it really more interesting b/w?

Looks like interesting headgear, I find I want to see more though, could do with an increase in contrast imho

I want this photo panned to the left more, or at least show more of what is in front of the face. This could be very interesting, but I think the photo is almost half of the back of his head.

Also, I would have used more contrast. The desaturation looks a little bland. 5

Couls use a little more contrast

Interesting subject... it seems a tad bit soft on the focus to me... and lacking in contrast. (not voting yet)

lacks contrast...has great potential with a good edit

excellent use of b/w conversion to give this a 19th century feel
