Great concept, but I think you're adding a bit too much light. Let the flame do it's thing, and light the opposite side to keep the shape of the subject. |

Is this an ice cube? I can't really tell. I wish the flame/explosion would have been more in focus. I can't say I like it but that's just me :) |

Not sure on what to say here. It just doesn't quite do it for me and I can't tell you why, except...perhaps, the composition with the other details around it?? I don't know why I'm trying to comment because I can't put it into words but, perhaps, "I don't get it" may come closest rather than, "boring"??? Sorry. Don't mean to be so cruel sounding. I really don't. Just don't know how else to say it and figure that saying nothing is not great either??? Ok, shutting up now. :) |
