Did anyone at the gas station see you do this? I'm sure they'd be thrilled lol. Oh and I learned a new word today too thanks to you and google lol. |

Very interesting and creative photo, but wasn't this theory debunked... like 300 years ago? |

Ok, this made me cringe. As a former overnight "On the Run" employee, my biggest fear wasn't a robbery, it was a fire at the pumps, having witnessed, as a child, first-hand, the explosive "dephlogistication" of another fuel product, en masse. Anyway, I guess it's well composed and technically well done. I certainly can't claim that it failed to elicit an emotional response. Well done ... I guess. |

Phlogiston appears to be a theory and not an element. I'm looking forward to finding out more about this. |

I had to go look that up on Wikipedia. Not an element from the periodic table, however, I expect many will not bother to look it up. I'll be interested to see the final score and other comments on this entry. |

Very clever idea, I'm not sure that many people will make the connection to which you are referring |

Not sure what the open flame has to do with the gas station other than making it fit the challenge but otherwise sharp looking picture. It doesn't have any photographic value to me though. |

Tried to sneak that element in didn't you. Nice image and it probably won't hurt your score. |

OK, you're gonna make me go look up Phologiston.... hang on... Very interesting! I learned something new today. Now don't go torching the service station. Not good for your health or your ability to live outside of confinement. |

Great perspective and composition, as far as I know, phlogiston is a theory, not an element on the periodic table. 4 because I like it, I just wish you had not called if phlogiston! At least then I could have made something up in my own mind as to what element of the periodic table you are photographing. PM if I'm wrong. |
