A feeble attempt at a self portrait. I was wearing my daughter and shooting handheld (you know, arm outstretched pointing back at myself style), so it was rather difficult to get something decent. I'll probably make a better effort at some point.

I peeked at colorcarnival. Yes, this is a superhero portrait! In mid-flight, even. I love it's 70s-style Polaroidness. I love how it looks like a mistake, like I'm seeing something I'm not supposed to be seeing... as if you really walk around with that puss on your face!

this is cool tho. it's like a superhero portrait - like you are about ready to leap in the sky and go for a spin. lol now i wish i took more pictures when I was wearing my kids.

Thank you for keeping your nostrils in shadow ;-) Sort of looks like an ad for the Marines or something. Harsh light and steely-eyed squinting.

I like it, that looking to the future kind of expression and the blurriness that forces me to look for the story. It's such a masculine photo, love that!

I think this came out quite well! Very dynamic sorta composition and appears to have a touch of acid/cross, of which I approve. :-) Nicely done. Did you make your own pinhole or order one?

Excellent! I'm sure I can see a pyramid in the background.

And another vote for 'feeble'? what are you talking about, I like it, it poses lots of questions like, what are you looking at?, what are you thinking?, where are you? are you a giant and the fotog is a midget? why is your nose so big?

For holding a camera at arms length for 2.5 sec (and holding a child to boot), the details are pretty sharp here! I like this cut-off perspective. You look steely and determined - run for office! ;)
