While this image doesn't pop, for what it's worth I can see that it is navy blue quite clearly.

Is this blue ? I see it black.

This is a blue challenge - nothing blue here

Looks more like a dull washed-out black to me! Rather uninspiring, I'm afraid. The focus is soft, and the hash lighting has produced heavy shadows against the background - pulling your subject forward would help avoid these.

The bra looks black to me.

I must be dumb because I don't get it.

your wife's bra?

the color is off, it doesn't look blue to me, BUT ill pretend its blue, because that's obviously what you were intending.

Not too sure about the background color... seems like the bra needs some more pop to the color.

And how does this fit with the challenge?
11/12/2008 09:06:54 AM
Oof and looks black and yellow to me, not blue?

unfortunately with DPC's size requirements, thin crops do not work so well as you don't use alot of the space. Also if you have photoshop you should use the Save for Web feature, it will get you photo to the maximum allowable size 150 kb which will show the most details. Your image is only ~50 kb. Here is a DPC tutorial to help you.

While I'm pretty careful to avoid handing out DNMC's, this one clearly does not represent blue.
