greetings from the critique club!!
Well I'm sure that you already know from reading you comments that DPC'ers want you to post your work larger. You are allowed 640 pixels for your longest dimention, and a file size of 150k. The comments that you are slightly out of focus are valid. It looks like your camera locked on the table top instead of your skillet. And your subject is a little over exposed as well.
The people that are commenting on your cropping and framing are right on the money. I think that you have a couple choice...you could zoom in even tighter and show just part of you pan,,,,or you could come out some and show all of it. In any case, this of ways to pose your subject in an interesting way in your frame. Shoot from an angle, hang your skillet from a tree. I think your dead on shooting is what the people here are trying to get you to think about. |

IMO - the cropping is a bit close on the top and left. Would like to have seen the entire pot. |

too small and looks out of focus. Also it seems the framing is so close, it should of included the edges and all the handle. |

Great subject and colors. The composition is a little uninteresting, maybe a different angle or creative crop. And of course make it bigger so we can appreciate the details! |

really hard to see what the picture is because of its size and or what part the rust plays uz you can't see it. |

Very nice idea for this challenge. I wish that you would have had the entire pan in the picture. It seems a tad out of focus as well, but I love the table that it is placed on. It really tells a story to me. (and I'm sure other people have commented on having the picture bigger. The forums give excellent "how to"s. |

There seems to be some litter on the table which if removed would help this picture tremendously. It also seems a little washed out and overexposed to me. |

Sad to see this cast iron skillet in such bad shape, but it can be saved.!! Your shot is a bit on the small size and the light is a wee bit too stong. You did find and shoot rust for the challenge. Good luck with your shot. |

Needs more contrast and looser cropping. It would help if it was larger also. |
