Greetings from the Critique Club!
Hi! I am probably not the person to do be doing critiques on Abstracts as I have a very predefined definition of abstract and very few of the entries met that. This was one of them, sorry. I know what it is that cause me to think this wasn't an abstract and that is the center of the tulip, no idea exactly what it's called. But if you had cropped the shot tighter on the left, taking out the center of the flower it would have made a huge difference to me personally. I love your shots overall, your three little jugs shot is one of my favorites of yours. This shot is well done but the center ends up being a distraction to the shot, taking away from the overall beauty of the petals. And using my handy dandy envelope when you take that new crop it really makes a difference in the shot. If you redo this I would love to see this.
Good Luck In Future Challenges!

I think a more abstract image might have been one without the stamen(or is is it a pistil...HS biology was SO long ago)....Like the colors and details very much. |

Tulips always have such wonderful colour. The curved lines shown here give a sense of tranquility (IMO). It might have worked even better without the stamen on the left. The DOF and exposure seem to be bang on. 7 |

Very nice flowing image. The colors and lines are great to explore. The dark black border does nothing at all for me. |

What a pity, why not just the great colors and lines which are on the right of the image, without the purple bit. Now I see immediately a flower, otherwise it would have been just colors and lines and structure, more of an abstract. |

Good composition and colors. It might be even better with greater contrast. |

The border is a distraction here. |
