I used fishing line to suspend the apple slices and the cutting board. I had so many lines in the ceiling that adjusting them for the shot was a nightmare.

Using a fish eye lens helped me keep the fishing lines from crossing between the camera and the board or apple.

Yeah, my sheet is wrinkled. I wish I had a better backdrop.
