very nice image, nicely shot and rendered in a very nice moody sepia like tone, but I really fail to see (and I hate having to say this) this image's relationship to the challenge. |

Beautiful picture, but I don't feel / see / get the connection to the challenge. |

A powerful image but in my opinion doesn't fit the challenge as it was meant to be of pictures of rust not a rusty sepia tone. |

Not too much rust in the image, but seems like something out of Time Magazine. Despite not feeling like the challenge (just my interpretation) I think this is a very well composed shot. |

I like the shot, but I have a hard time figuring out exactly how it fits in the rust category -- except maybe figuratively. |

Fantastic photo. A bit heavy on the sepia. I would suggest a lighter tint. 9 |

cool shot but bit streched to fit this into rusted theme |

Bravo! beautifull picture. I'm not sure if it fits the rusted challenge, depends on if you used a sepia filter or not i.m.o.
The colours are marvelous, well done! |

I don't know how this follows the theme. It looks over posed from the clean box, child's unworn shoe and her clean white sweater. |

I am looking for real rust for this challenge, sorry |

very grungy, you'll get marked down for using a rusted colour instead of rust. But I like the rawness of it. 7 |

This is a very sad image. The sepia really adds to the feeling. It doesn't really work for "rusted" for me though. |

Challenging photo, but don't see the rust connection. |

Fairly compelling image but the rust element is pretty much non-evident. |

I like the pose of mother and child. The exposed leg and smooth hands establish a younger age for the mother than the pose and condition of life.
I find the left half of the picture quite uninteresting. As I find the right side worthy of a 9 or 10, I am giving the overall picture a 5. |

Not sure it meets 'rust' challenge when the real subject/theme is something so very different. I know what you are going for but it looks too clean and (I maybe completely wrong, but that's the the way it looks) too set-up. |

I don't feel that this photo is sincere. It feels like it was set up. The sepia is a nice tone. |

This is a poignant image and a beautiful composition. There is a bit too much of the reddish cast. I don't see the rust unless I make a stretch and guess it is staining the concrete wall. |

You knew you were going to get these comments when you did this photo, but I don't think it meets the challenge. |

wanted to rate it higher but i'm wondering where is the rust and how are you equating rust to rest...nice comp though |
