 A group of photo enthusiasts came to my home and all of us played with water drops for the first time. We had a shallow dish of water, placed all our cameras on bulb, had another person drop the water from a ear syringe and a third timing the flash. The flash was a hot shoe type flash that was hand triggered. The flash output was increased by 2 stops to increase the light output. The flash operator was simply timing the drops.

We placed Christmas wrapping paper in the bottle of the tray to provide the color.

After the fact, I see the flash reflections in the drops...I assume that will hurt any score. It is neat to see that there is a reflection of the splash in the bottom, but I suspect most people will not realize what it is.

I have some hope that this might be my highest scoring image yet.

Nice water drop shot capture but the background does not really work for me in this one, the checkered design makes it way to busy and detracts from the beauty of the drop.
