This is a glass heart suspended in a glass jar by a nylon thread. Silly me, I wanted to do an Irene M thing with water splashing or pouring - well... needless to say, that didn't work. But I liked the focus on the drops and the thus blurred heart.

I worked with no specific intent in mind, but as it turns out, this speaks to me on an emotional level. Slaughterhouse V uses the refrain "so it goes" throughout the book, every time someone dies. I use it as well - and I feel this photo kind of reflects the passing of something or someone and what's left is the heart.

I'd like this better if the water were on the object and in focus rather than on the glass above the object.
