Does not appear to be a macro, but rather a tiger with some filter effects run over it.

Looks like a tiger to me with some sort of filter applied. Not sure it's a macro, though.

I'm not sure what kind of medium (photo, painting, real life, etc...) you photographed, but your post processing is a little too extreme, and I think it hurts the image.
