 This is a gold colored drill bit. For lighting I used some glow sticks and it is on a blue background. This might be my favorite photo I've entered in a challenge so far because the pink looks like an alien silhouette to me, particularly in thumbnail view :D I just hope the large version isn't too much of a noisy/blurry mess for DPC.

My first impression was feathers but that is definitely not it. I don't know what it is.

Looks like a netting, viewed through something refractive... very puzzling.

These 3 sections of the picture don't really go along, they just keep feeling weird. Great colour tones and fits well the challenge.

Pretty pastel colours. Almost looks like a feather but then again it looks too solid to be a feather. Painted wood, perhaps?
