 It's my metal shoehorn, the end that has the hole to hang it from.


The lens was just about touching it. The S5 IS has a great super macro mode that my SLR just can't duplicate without lenses that I don't have.

Pre-challenge notes:
Hopefully this will be my high scoring shoehorn entry. Since my previous best shoehorn came in at 5.36, it's possible. Of course, the fact that nobody knows what it is ought to work in it's favor. There shouldn't be any cries of "DNMC" or "I don't get it" in this challenge!

Post-challenge notes:
A modest score, not up to what I had hoped for, but a high score was not the main objective anyway. A few folks were close that it was a hole drilled in metal, but nobody guessed what it really was without a hint. I was surprised that a few folks thought it was a hole drilled in fiberglass. I suppose it DOES look like it could be that.

this was a 7 from me - love the colors and textures - as well as that weep-wow marshmallow thang in the middle about to gebloop itself right outta the hole ;-) nice going!
