 I'm hopping it's not as obvious for everyone else as it is for me that I took a picture of the back of a dvd-r... I still like it because it's colorful, and I haven't done anything so "in your face color" in DPChallenge so far. That makes it a personal achievement. Other than that, today I thought my camera has no longer going to allow me to use it... A sad moment. So color was definitely needed to cheer up!

Taken under a fluorescent light tube. The dvd was tilted to get the color effect.
Captured in jpeg format. then the image was manipulated in Adobe Lightroom. Cropped and rotated the image to get the "bow" area, then adjusted the blacks, made it less contrasty and less saturated, and made the shadows darker to cover up the letters the dvd has close to it's center. Put in a bit more detail and luminance.
Resized and saved for web in Adobe CS3.

A stumper, so meets the challenge. The scratches and flaws are interesting. But otherwise I'm not resonating with this.

I no idea what it is. Nice composition and bright colors. I just wish it was a little more crisper. I think that would make it pop even more. Just my opinion.

Is that light reflecting off a cd? Since this is advanced editing you could have cloned out all the specks and imperfections and made this a lot better.
