I think the diagonals in this image make it very strong and give it a good amount of depth, the contrasting background color along with the soft tone overall gives a a very subdued feeling to it. I love the control over the DOF and the textures amongst the diagonals. I am not quite sure how I feel about the vingetting, I thought it was neat as it made me feel as though I was looking through a microscope, but it my eye as it follows through on the diagonals is led into the black and leaves me wondering what else is out there.

Pretty pastel colours. Seeds from a flower, almost looks feathery.

Just found a similar photo in the challenge. It made me think of a clematis after it's gone to seed.
