 This is Mt.McKinley...or Denali to Alaskans, viewed from Willow, Alaska. One remarkable thing is that as enormous as this mountain is, most days you cannot even see it as the clouds have it hidden. I can see a part of it from Big Lake on a clear day, as was today so I drove out to Willow where I knew I can get the best view, though still hundreds of mile away from the actual mountain.
Side note: the car you see driving on the right had also pulled over to take a few pics. I pulled up right behind them, got out of my van, and walked just to the right of their back bumper. The passenger had his window half way down and the aroma of marijuana coming from that car was very strong! Had they not pulled away soon after I may have started feeling the effects of the second hand smoke. lol

I like the b&w look and think this could be better if the sky and mountains had a bit more detail. At first glance, I thought it was all sky.

Fantastic composition and great rule of thirds. I love the high contrast B&W. 10

I tried to bump this up to 11 but it wouldn't let me.

Fascinating. I really like that horizontal line at the upper third... it's like the mountains are an entirely separate image. I wish the moving vehicles were not there, though so I could imagine this any way I want it. Does that make sense? (not voting yet)
