Too dark for me. Perhaps with more negative space the colors would pop more and I wouldn't focus so much on the darkness of it. |

Sorry but this is just too dark/underexposed and poorly lit, guess you used the onboard flash for this one? Try opening up the aperture, up the iso, longer shutter, whatever it takes to get some more ambient lighting in this one. |

This is a beautiful bird portrait. I like how the vibrant colors are coming out of the dark. Makes it pop in my opinion. Diagonal composition works very well and I am amazed you actually caught some catch light in the eyes. Which is half the battle. |

To be honest, there's too little here. I am looking at this on a calibrated monitor and suspect there is detail in the darks that I'm missing. |
