Yet another picture I finally processed from Taylor's birthday series. I really like this shot because it captures her (sometimes) quirky smile. I'm not fond of how low her right should is, but overall it came out well, IMO.
I didn't get a shot today because the furnace guys were here, then I had to run out to the store, we got the girls and ate, then dropped them again, then went to see Mannheim Steamroller. No cameras allowed at the concert and it was way too cold to take pictures of the place and walk back to the car. The playing was good, sound was best concert sound I've ever heard, and the graphics/movies were cutting edge (5-10 years ago!).
Check out that shutter speed - I think this is the lowest I've ever gotten in focus without IS. I think it comes with practice, seriously. |
