That poor guy looks like life chewed him up and spit him out. Has to be one of the most pathetic people I have ever seen. Really really really sad. To be cursed with a face like that - I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemies. ...and yet I just can't help but stare in utter pity. ...I wonder how the coffee tastes...

That cheery little butterfly mug looks really out of place. For this challenge I'd like the bench to be more important to the image; he could be sitting on a rock wall and the effect would be the same.

It's very good how you used highlihts to catch his face, the mug and the graphic on his shirt ... all of which combine to paint his reactions to life and the situation. I fear this may be under appreciated by voters. Hope not.

I like the shot in b&w. I would have preferred a wider shot with more emphasis on the bench(es) than the man. Unfortunate that you can see so much of the watch. ;) All in all, a nice photograph.

An engaging candid. I like the oddness of the butterfly mug and the Tazmanian devil t-shirt combination.

Great portrait! Love the facial expression. Can barely see the bench though. I would score you higher in a differently themed challenge.

A nice B & W, but the bench doesn't seem prominent enough for the Challenge. Commenting only.

what a great face, but we need more bench cause this is really about his expression.

good portrait. the black and white is good, the benches is just visible but but its presence is realized.

I feel bad for saying this, but I find his expression to be comical. Great photo.

Doesn't scream bench but I like the expression you've captured.

As exploitation candids go, this certainly has a worthy point of interest. Not sure I care for the square crop and super high contrast.
