Really? It may be a little oversharpened but I wouldn't say it was too dark. Is your monitor calibrated?

i gotta say I would have loved to see the natural color of the lemon/orange, although this effect is cool

I like the idea, but i feel the colors are too washed out. Would have liked to seen some nice blues and yellows.
