The lighting slightly over exposes the mattress but I like the contrast of the image.
Im unsure what the blob by the hand is. Is it meant to be blood or am I completely morbid?

I like this shot. Focusing the light on the bottle instead of the mattress would help it seem even more dramatic. Just a thought.

Dark and depressing subject but it fits the theme very well. Not an image that will appeal to the masses but it "speaks to me." Good work.

sad photo. good idea, original compared to the rest of the photos here and i like that:) maybe a pool of the stuff coming out of the bottle would have been cool, but i do like it the way it is

I tried a similar shot a ways back in the blurry mess category... . A few people got what I was going for. In your shot, I'd maybe like to see something more to add a bit more drama. Good luck to you.

Body position looks unnatural and posed. That said, good lighting, effective B&W use.
