 Took a shot of a crumpled fifty dollar note. That's my "last" fifty dollars note. Literally! It's a "do or die" shot!

Good concept but the execution could have been better.
The image doesn't really convey "hanging on by a thread" and overall the image is too pale.
might have looked better against a dark background.

Although your title describes the situation well and is fitting to the challenge, your photograph, by itself, doesn't. It can easily be interpreted as something quite different.

I am sure I'm missing a cultural reference so I'm not quite getting the connection to the theme - except for your title of course. Having said that, I like the image. Whites are true, shadows are good, contrast and clarity are very good. In the end, I like it a lot.
