 The wildlife photographer had to live in the big city, because that's where all the gigs were. But he was hanging on by a thread, taking pictures of dead birds on the sidewalk.

Ewwwww, and how sad, and it looks like indoor/outdoor carpeting (upon which the deceased rests) which makes me think it was some sort of indoor show, like a dog show or something, only for dead birds.

Well I laughed reading your photographers notes! Unfortunately, it took the notes to understand the photo and how it tied into the challenge theme. Very funny idea, nicely executed, it just didn't come across until you could read the notes. Oh well, like many images in challenges, this one probably made you happy and in the end that is all that really counts!

Sorry, but I don't find this "hanging by a thread" and I really take offense to the title and the subject. I think it was cruel and unnecessary. Is there no limits to what people will photograph in order to get an entry? I'm afraid that the shot and the title were just in poor taste! 1
