I wish the rusty razor blade was in focus. Now you've got me wondering. 8.

Reminds me of my cabinet when I was single. Anyway, great use of DOF

You might have moved your focus back a little to sharpen the razors, or even better found an old safety razor. Obviously the plastic ones don't convey rust very well. As a senior citizen I appreciate only too well the analogy between grandfather and rust.

A wonderful idea and so nice to be so young. The lighting and composition indicate a willingness to suffer the conditions in which you find things rather than moving them to make a great shot.

A 3.

what did you want to focus on?

Your focus is a little off, just in front of the razor, which seems to be your center of interest. Nice composition, otherwise.

The focus decision here is very good, but I am having difficulty enjoying the composition. I think you did a good job with the items you chose, but I am not sure what you could have done with two dirty razors.

This is excellent work. It begs for questions, and I really like that in a photograph. I wanna know more about what I see. This is like a 'teaser' that makes me want to explore this environment and know the people who inhabited it (past tense). It feels uninhabited now, but there was life here at some point in time. Death may play a strong role in this image as well. Kudos on a great shot :)
