 I took the shot while takeing my grandson camping. I got up and went down to the river to watch the elk at sunrise. I saw this lone elk standing in the fog by the trees and was hopeing the sun rays would light him up but they never made it to him. I stil like this shot anyway

God, this gorgeous! Has almost an oil painting quality to it where the light plays on the tree leaves.

The light and fog are beautiful. I particularly like the light on the trees. Such a classic landscape with a great mood. This is a wonderful photo.

I love how the light plays with the fog and the trees. What an added bonus to have the elk just kind of slowly popping out of the background.

This is fantastic! So dramatic with the swirling clouds. Has a painterly feel to it. Wish you could lighten the elk just a wee bit. I probably wouldn't have seen it if you hadn't mentioned it. Absolutely love your processing here.

I have to drag myself out of bed early to catch a nice foggy sun up image one of these days. This has definitely motivated me. There is a certain grandeur about it.

Spectacular! I thought it was a dog at first but upon closer inspection, I see it is indeed an elk. That mist/fog is incredible!

The mist stream of light on the trees and foreground makes this a great shot.. I can see the elk!!

amazing shot .. the mist/clouds behind the trees is beautiful and atmospheric and then the animal (reindeer??) in the distance really boosts this shot from amazing to amazingly brilliant .. love your b&w process .. :)
