Seems oversharpened, or something. Might be JPEG compression. This is a pretty detailed image, and your file size of only 128k, plus the appearance, indicates you probably lost some detail to compression. You had up to 200k to utilize. That's all that is keeping me from giving this a nice high vote.

Good textures, but you have two photos here. You could crop the top half of the sky off and have a stronger photo, or you could crop some of the sand off and have a stronger photo.
