I actually like the blown highlights in this case, it makes a nice neutral backdrop for the rich green bottle! |

I don't think it sucks at all lol. I love the saturation you gave the photo. This is the kind of picture that would be fun to see with some words on it. |

Ha Ha! My first impression was "green pumpkin pie?" This is a good pattern find.
For the highlights problem, you could try wrapping a full sheet of poster board into a tube, then set the bottle in that to shoot. That may even out the light some.
Another suggestion would be to put it where there is a dark BG and shoot it with light coming through the glass from the opposite side, which would be lower left in this case. |
