 Wow this feels a bit nerve-wracking I haven't posted an image here for a while and I forgot how much I suck!
I love colored glass :)
Yesterday we had a family lunch at my place and someone brought some Appletise drink which came in a lovely green bottle .
This was the best of my shots this morning with my macro lens. I got quite frustrated trying to deal with the blown highlights any suggestions gratefully accepted ;)

I actually like the blown highlights in this case, it makes a nice neutral backdrop for the rich green bottle!

I don't think it sucks at all lol. I love the saturation you gave the photo. This is the kind of picture that would be fun to see with some words on it.

Ha Ha! My first impression was "green pumpkin pie?" This is a good pattern find.
For the highlights problem, you could try wrapping a full sheet of poster board into a tube, then set the bottle in that to shoot. That may even out the light some.
Another suggestion would be to put it where there is a dark BG and shoot it with light coming through the glass from the opposite side, which would be lower left in this case.

i'm loving the colours and tones charlie .. also the curve and the shadow .. this would make a brilliant overlay/texture .. but i spose you knew that already ..!!..lol ..:)

I LOVE green (have you ever seen the movie Great Expectations with Gwyneth Paltrow? FULL of green - YUM!)
