It's an ok photo, the subject really doesn't do a whole lot. Since the snail portion is the main subject, get in close with it. |

what an interesting title! lighting seems a bit bright, but i love the idea here. i really enjoy the beauty in a scroll |

I think a darker toning would have brought out the wood grain a bit more. Try it again with a darker background and a softer light source and see what you think. |

Elegant and simple composition, good lighting, probably not a very attractive subject for a free study, but deserves a high score imo. |
