 First of a few shots before the fog rolled away.

Single shot. Vignette added in RAW setup. Color cast from the ND filter. Shot at 2pm with a 10stop ND filter. First of few tries. I'm looking forward to using this filter again.
I had a landscape oriented verion without the bottom but I blew it when tweaking the filter.

I'd been trying to figure out why I like this so much. Yes, it is the space/emptiness, the serenely faint sketch of bridge and fog, but posthumous's "the sense of distance is completely thwarted" describes what delivers this to the viewer as not simply a landscape.

I generally hate landscapes, but this has a wonderful sense of emptiness. It's palpable. Those look like shells to me, but there's no demarcation between sand and water. Similarly, the sense of distance is completely thwarted. Splendid image.

Some sense of loneliness to this, like I'm gazing at my first sight of a lost civilization. Nice smooth gradation of tone.

Very nice! I've been wanting to get an ND 3.0 filter so I can do some broad daylight long exposures. I have so many ideas but can't justify the cost. I may have to steal yours. :P

Wow! I love this! The pebbles in the foreground really add to the image. And the bridge is just there enough, not too much, if that makes any sense.
