I didn't get to fill out photographer's comments because if I had done ANYTHING extra I would not have got it in. I was submitting at the last moment and instead of seeing my submission, I saw the entries come up for voting. I thought I was too late, but there at the bottom of everything was my submission.
The spider is an Australian huntsmsn spider. It is on the face of a step. Its shadow is different from those of Spiderman and the ball because the spider is on a vertical surface and they are on flat ground. I had a box on either side of the setup, glass over the top and cling wrap over the front. I used a slim stick to herd the spider to where I wanted it. I went inside for something, came back and found the spider had escaped, so that was the end of that. Unfortunately my sister will no longer be able to visit my site because she has acute arachnophobia.
Processing was minimal. usm, brightness/contrast, border, resize, save to web. |

Nice job on your depth of field, keeping everything in perspective. Shadows off the spider seem at a little different angle than the shadows from the egg and Spiderman. But not a big distraction. 8 |

Hahahaha, extra points for being hilarious if not well-executed. Wish it were a bit sharper. |

Well, interesting shot, spider kinda looks like a Wolf spider, would have helped give it some power if there was more contrast in her. I think to pull this off a little better, maybe having the ball covered in a little of the brown leaves would have made it seem a little less like a ball. Nice sharp, clean, good focus. |

Not sure this shot presents super power, If I didn't read the title, which I do at first, I wont be able to tell what kind of super power it is,
I hope my critique is taken a positive way, all the best. |
