 Alright this was not the picture I intended to take, but it turned out far better than my intentions. My wife ended up buying 50 yards of this ribbon to put on the christmas tree. So, I was sitting around with the camera taking pictures of the kids decorating the tree, and grabbed this ribbon before she could. Set it on my knee and snapped about a dozen pics of it balanced on my knee. Put them on the computer to review and thought this one turned out fairly well. Here's hoping...

Nice idea, but I think the DOF is just too narrow.

I like the simpleness of this shot, mixed with the complex dots of gold. a better focal point would have helped a tad
