 My wife brought this home from one of her pre-christmas shopping sprees and I was quite happy when this emerged from one of her bags. It saved me from further hopeless speculations, straight or twisted.

Camera on tripod, shot with 17-85 with black background and then the "candles" were lit a bit extra with a bluish white diode penlight. LR processing: Increased clarity and vibrance. Exported as jpg, straightened, cropped, resized and sharpened!

the exposure is off, as is the focus it is too soft. but nice idea
