Got up this morning like any other morning, walk the dog(s). Smelled smoke and walked around the apartments. Fire trucks were just arriving and things got worse fast. There wound up being about 15 fire trucks along with all the other rescue vehicles (police, fire chiefs, EMTs, etc.) Took over 300 pics from 5:50am to about 10:30am and am going to post some in the portfolio later.
This is all basic editing, crop, levels, white balance, usm, resize, usm, sfw.
Post Challenge: I forgot to add that no one was injured or hurt. Alot of property damage, water and smoke damage, but no injuries. About 14 apartments were damaged. |

| This is a cool photo. I especially like the small water droplets/mist coming off the water stream. The smoke is also pretty neat. Unfortunately, I don't really think this is a sunrise, due to how high the sun is in the photo, so perhaps this isn't the best challenge for this submission. |

| I can't figure out what's happening here. Why is it a disater? I see a crane of some sorts and I see smoke and a blue sky and some tree tops. I don't see how it relates to sunrise or sunset. |

| Not sure this fits the bill- it feels like a shoehorn. The water looks a little over sharpened. |
