I certainly appreciate the votes that I have received regarding this photo. At the time of this writing it's not doing too well but it may improve before the end of the challenge. It took a while to get this ugly bug to unroll himself from the ugly little ball he was in when I first put him on the flower. Yup,the ugly little guy just laid there looking fearful and Ugly.

Wow. Saved by one or two last minute votes.Not a great score but it's better than a 4 any day. This ugly bug was destined to become my 2cd photo in the fours. It barely made the fives but I can live with it...............................Darn Ugly bug anyway :)

interesting choice, but I would have liked the catapillar to be in perfect focus not the flower petal.

It meets the challenge. It should do better than most of the other entries. It has a nice crisp focus, but its too bad bugs have to be so ugly. Hopefully, the voter will think "neat" and vote high rather than "yuk" and vote low. Good luck.

Beautiful color on the flower, but the bug is too dark, and I can't see the detail.
