| Processing again very much suits the subject, very wintry - the heron's breast feathers appear almost as icicles. The dark tree in the back is well-placed too, good contrast to get our eye back there for a bit. |

| This is really quite striking, with the bird all huddled in what I imagine is very cold water. Nicely done. |

| OMG THIS IS AMAZING .. a incredible capture .. you couldnt have got the feeling of cold and winter over more perfectly than you have .. the photograph is wonderful and your processing is awesome .. it looks so baren and dead and there's that poor cold looking bird .. love the reflection .. poster perfect .. :) |
