this photograph was taken at darling harbour of a couple of random kids going down the escalators ..
no textures used in the processing ..
i got the look by turning the original photograph into a line drawing and putting that over the original background layer in normal mode ..
i then created a mask and selectively erased areas so that the original photograph showed thru but retained the line drawing feel in other areas .. then did a few adjustment layers and used color efex/midnight applied twice in different blending modes .. sharpened and saved for web ..

this is the original extremely boring photograph in case anyone is interested ..

cutout said that this reminded him of escher .. I LOVE ESCHER .. such a fantastic compliment .. :)

This is SERIOUSLY amazing, Roz. I'd post this on the fav thread but I'd be accused of favoritism :-)

Crazy cool that you did this with a single exposure. Roz, you truly rock with your cam and computer.

I do NOT want to go there! This is very 'otherworldly' ;) Nicely done, yet again. Your stuff belongs on the walls of fine art galleries.

Love it LOTS! Wonderful shapes, and it is very 'escheresque' :-) I really like the combination of combining drawing filters with the image itself, and you've done it fabulously here!!

Wow, Roz, you certainly got a lot of mileage out of that shot. Thanks for the notes. Something to fool around with myself. Nice result, BTW.

Wowee, Roz - another inspired image from you. Shadows and reflections... some of my favorite things! Love how the drawing becomes reality from top to bottom... Good stuff!

Terrific mix of graphics and humans. I love the stark contrast and all of the patterns. You're good.

Even the original has some fun lines and shapes to it, but the processing really brings them out and still draws attention to the boys.

Nice processing Rozy. I like this a lot even with the green tonings - not my fav. colour as you well know...lol
